As a mother to a one and two year old, I know firsthand the challenges and joys of being a all-encompassed mama! I feel that familiar concern that a lot of moms have, concern that I’ll forget what this time in our life is like, all the intimate, little moments. While I’ve been photographing lovely families and their littles for over 7 years, it was when I became a mother myself that I truly began to appreciate the beauty that is motherhood and those everyday moments, capturing the giggles, snuggles, and sweet smiles.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

Photography is an art, and as with any art, every photographer has their own style driven by their creativity, their “eye”, and their passion. Most people assume that editing determines a photographer’s style, but the time of day, the location, the use of light, and the camera settings all factor in to create my artistic vision. Editing is simply an enhancer to the image that was created in the camera.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve really come into my own style that is very true to me. I love a mix of classic and modern elements. I love for photos to look timeless, yet fresh and modern, so that years from now you will still love them as much as you do today. I like calmness and peacefulness in my images to keep the emphasis and focus on my clients and their emotions, using simplicity in styling, lighting and wardrobe to achieve that.
